One of my favourite interviews with Buzz Osborne, he says everything that would send any PR manager over the edge. Here are some of my favourite quotes, they crack me up every single time…

“Heroin addicts will tell you they’re going to die, but they never die [laughs] - YOU WISH THEY WOULD DIE.”

“I think the reason they stopped doing drive-ins is because people kept being shot at them. (“Really?”) I think so… Mmmm, maybe that’s not true.”

“Instead of a drive-by shooting I wanna do a stroll-by shooting… doo, you’re dead, and you’re dead, you’re dead. Walking.”

“Doing blow with Hendrix? Sure… I would do it.”

“My idea of the Battle of the Bands might be different to your idea though. I think it should be six bands in a circle all playing at once. Go, go, go. “I heard they [Gallagher brothers] got into a big fight recently. (“Yeah, they broke up.”) Darn the luck… Gosh… Now’s the time for me to unload all those collectables…”

[On Paul McCartney and the Beatles Rockband game] “I think he only did it because of his divorce. I imagine his kids are pretty pissed at him for pissing away all that money, y’know… to some one-legged woman. You mean to tell me you can’t even afford a WHOLE wife? [laughs] I don’t believe it!”

“Yeah, totally, if there’s one thing marijuana does is that it makes you focused, sure… [laughs] Focus on the TV… and then they focus on the refrigerator.”

“You don’t want me taking speed, noooo - I’ll go outside and chew through trees like a beaver.”
